The Anti-Cancer Challenge
We want you to join the Cancer Research Institute in the fight against cancer! UC Irvine Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center has launched a new annual event- The Anti-Cancer Challenge. This is a two day event focused on raising awareness and funds for cancer research at UC Irvine.
Sprague Hall and the Cancer Research Institute T32 Training Grant Teamed up to create the OncoSlayers team. This team is led by Jessica Flesher and Liz Selwan.

2017 event was held on June 10-11, 2017 at Angel Stadium wand included the following events:
- Cycle 10, 30, 60, 100 miles
- 5K Run/ Walk on the field
- Volunteer – for the day of the event, or you can work alongside the Onco-Slayers to help raising funds to meet and beat the team goals.
